The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the top-performing candidates in the 2025 UTME. During the 2025 Policy Meeting held in Abuja, JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede confirmed that Okeke Chinedu Christian, from Anambra State, recorded the highest score — an impressive 375.
However, Prof. Oloyede also noted a discrepancy in Okeke’s records. While Okeke applied for Mechanical Engineering at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), JAMB’s system showed he was already admitted four years ago to study Medicine at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and remains an active student.
The matter has now been referred to the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria for further investigation.
