Borno State University (BOSU) has officially announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise.
The registration window opens Monday, 11th August 2025 and closes Sunday, 31st August 2025. All eligible candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline via the official portal: https://putme.bosu.edu.ng.
Who Can Apply?
For UTME Candidates
You must have scored at least the approved cut-off mark for your chosen programme.
You must have written the correct UTME subject combination.
You need a minimum of five (5) relevant O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
If your UTME score is below the required cut-off, you should change to a programme you qualify for on the JAMB portal before registering.
For Direct Entry Candidates
At least five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics.
A minimum of 9 points in NCE, a Merit in NCE, Lower Credit in ND/HND, or a Second Class Lower in a first degree.
Important for All Candidates
Your O’Level results must be uploaded to JAMB CAPS candidates without this will not be considered for admission.
How to Apply
1. Log in to the portal using your JAMB Registration Number as both username and password to confirm your details.
2. Generate a Remita code and pay the ₦2,000 screening fee online (MasterCard, Visa, Verve) or at any bank.
3. Return to the portal, log in again, and complete the online application form.
4. Review your details before submission.
