JAMB Change of Course, Institution, and Data Correction 2025 — Portal Now Open

This is to inform the general public—especially candidates who participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)—that the JAMB portal for Change of Course, Institution, and Data Correction is now open.

Candidates who wish to make corrections or switch courses/institutions should note that the cost of the form is ₦3,500 (Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira only).

Important Guidelines Before Proceeding

Decide Wisely: Be sure of the new course and/or institution you wish to select. Use the official JAMB Brochure to confirm that the course is available in your preferred school. Need help with the JAMB brochure? Drop your question in the comment section — we’re here to help!
Check Cut-Off Marks: Ensure your UTME score meets or exceeds the typical cut-off mark for your new course or institution. You can check the latest cut-off marks for both federal and state universities for reference.
Match Your Subject Combination: Make sure your subject combination is correct for your intended course. A wrong combination can lead to disqualification during your school’s admission screening.

Flexible Change Options

You can change one or both: your course and/or institution.
One payment of ₦3,500 covers both changes.

How to Apply for JAMB Change of Course/Institution or Data Correction (2025)

Steps:

Visit the official JAMB portal: https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/
Log in using your email and password.
On the left panel, click “Registration (2025 only)”.
From the dropdown, select “2025 UTME Data Correction.”
Proceed with payment (₦3,500).
After payment, you can:

Complete the changes yourself, or
Visit an accredited JAMB CBT Centre for assistance.

2024 and Earlier UTME Candidates

If you wrote UTME in 2024 or any earlier year, follow these steps:

Visit the JAMB e-facility portal: https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/
Log in with your email and password.
On the left panel, click “Application for Correction of Data (2024 Downward).”
Select the specific data you wish to correct:

Course/Institution
Names
Date of Birth
Gender
State/LGA of Origin

Complete the correction process no CBT centre is needed.
