Latest Update: FUTA Begins Direct Entry Admission for 2025/2026 Session

The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) has officially started offering admission to Direct Entry candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This announcement brings excitement to many candidates who applied through JAMB Direct Entry, as the school has now begun uploading admission offers on the JAMB CAPS portal.

All Direct Entry applicants are therefore advised to check their admission status immediately and confirm whether they’ve been offered admission into their chosen departments at FUTA.

How to Check FUTA Direct Entry Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Follow the steps below to check your admission status easily:

1. Visit the official JAMB e-Facility Portal

2. Log in with your registered email address and password.

3. Click on “Check Admission Status.”

4. Select “Access My CAPS.”

5. Click on “Admission Status” to see if you’ve been offered admission.

What to Do After You’ve Been Offered Admission

If you’ve been offered admission, proceed to either accept or reject your offer by sending:

ACCEPT or REJECT

to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.

After accepting the admission, go back to the JAMB portal and print your admission letter.

This document will be required during clearance and registration at the university.

Candidates are strongly advised to respond promptly failure to accept the admission within the given period may lead to withdrawal of the offer.
